Our Party Wall Process

Step 1: Serving the Party Wall Notice
(We handle this for you)

  • We prepare and serve legally compliant Party Wall Notices.

  • Notices include a cover letter explaining your works to neighbours.

  • Your neighbour has 14 days to respond (Consent, Dissent, or No Response).

Step 2: If Your Neighbour Dissents or Fails to Respond

  • A Party Wall Award will be required.

  • We act as your surveyor, or an agreed surveyor if both parties consent.

  • If your neighbour remains unresponsive, we guide you through appointing a surveyor on their behalf.

Step 3: The Party Wall Award

  • This legally protects both you and your neighbour, outlining agreed works, timings, and conditions.

  • Once agreed, your project can proceed without legal disputes or delays.

Even if your neighbour consents, we recommend a Schedule of Condition Report to document their property’s condition before work starts.
